Meet Your July Maker
Our July maker, Natalie from Den Perfect, has been crafting handmade products since the age of 14. After starting out with clay jewellery and concrete planters, Natalie created her own candle vessel and fell in love with the art of pouring. Two years later and we are thrilled to feature her vegan friendly collection crafted to inspire people through natural, luxurious and unique scents.
Our July box celebrates the power the herbaceous world has on our senses. An aroma inspired by Natalie’s childhood in the countryside and your something little extra brings you a cleansing herbal experience to enjoy too.

‘Tuscan Herbs’
A fresh minimalistic white vessel and label gives our July candle a clean, crisp and sophisticated look.
Your candle is made in small batches with natural soy wax and using a zinc and lead free cotton wick.
Bring the outdoors in with this incredible clean, herbal scent. Basil, crushed oregano, sun ripened oranges and freshly rubbed tomato leaves with a touch of aromatic woods. Rich and earthy. This beautiful combination makes a perfect kitchen or garden patio candle.

Let’s learn a little more about Den Perfect! We sat down with Natalie to talk all things candles…
How long has your brand been going?
Den Perfect was created in the beginning of 2018 in San Francisco, California and in 2020 was officially launched in London. It has been a year since I quit my job and became a full time candle maker.
Where in the UK are you based and what space do you use?
My Crouch End flat has quickly turned into a workshop. With business flourishing I am looking for a studio where I will have the space necessary to expand my business.
What inspired you to start making candles?
Candles are the perfect combination of functional, meaningful, and beautiful. I’ve always loved the ambiance that a good smelling candle can create and how it can enhance every day life, help us to relax and unwind from a hard day.
It’s from these ideas that I felt inspired to pursue my dream. Making candles seemed like the perfect way to combine my passion for creating a product I believe in while also being able to transform any space into a cozy den.
What do you love about ‘Tuscan Herbs’?
I love green and herbal scents. Tuscan Herbs brings me back to my country home where I spent every summer growing up. The nostalgic notes of basil, earthy sage, and freshly rubbed tomato leaves comfort me and are soothing to my soul.
How do you choose scents for your collection?
Choosing the right scent is probably the most important aspect of the candle-making process for me. I’m incredibly particular about the scents of my candles. They need to smell natural, luxurious, and unique without being overpowering. When I find a scent that incorporates all of these qualities it can become a part of the Den Perfect Collection.
What has been your proudest moment?
I am proud to know that I’ve created something that not only makes me happy but inspires other people. I feel so incredibly grateful to all of my loyal customers and for all of the positive feedback I’ve received.
Do you have any ambitions or goals for Den Perfect?
I would like to design a new collection of beautiful scents to extend our product range. I’m also looking forward to creating an exquisite candle studio that will one day host a bright new environment for new members of the Den Perfect family.
Is there anything that you believe makes your brand different or stand out?
Den Perfect is not only about high quality candles but also about an exciting, eco-friendly, unboxing experience that I believe is just as important as the joy of using the product itself. There is a lot of love and care that goes into making each and every package and I hope my customers can feel that.
Are there any plans for new products?
I can’t wait to introduce to you everything I’ve been patiently working on. New candle gift sets, pillar candles, and reed diffusers will all be available in 2021.
